About
10+ years of diverse experience

I'm an aircraft stress analysis engineer and I believe in the power of inspiration in such a rapidly changing field of technology as modern aviation.
I have a diverse engineering background in different countries. My work abilities and my skills were developed in Moscow Boeing Design Center and enriched by moving to Israel where I become a part of the dynamic and booming aviation industry.
All my work experience is built on using cutting-edge technologies such as FEA and CAD. Besides FEA I practice a wide range of classic hand calculation techniques per Bruhn, Niu, Roark, and Timoshenko.
My engineering experience and abilities to quick learning allow me to perform the most effective structural analysis with top-level quality.
I'm happy to get out of my comfort zone at any time when I have a feeling that I'm stuck. I seek a challenge in my stress analysis, in my design work, in my language experience. My purpose and nature at the same time – to be ever-growing professional.
"Ingenuity comes from the engineer, not the machine."

Jun 2019 - Now
Stress Engineer | Full-time
BIRD Aerosystems develops airborne missile protection systems and airborne surveillance, information and observation solutions. I worked here as a stress engineer in FEMAP with NX Nastran and performed static and dynamic analysis of metallic and composite structures.
Apr 2019 - May 2019
Stress Engineer | Full-time
I was glad to work in ROM Aerostructures Engineering in our small but professional team using FEMAP with NX Nastran for static and dynamic analysis. This is a privately owned business founded by Mr. Ynon Surkis. His company provides engineering services to the aerospace and defense industry.
Dec 2018 - Mar 2019
Stress and Design Engineer | Full-time
As a design engineer in SolidWorks and stress engineer in SolidWorks Simulation, I worked in Carmor on both civilian and military projects. The specialization of the company is designated vehicles for fire-fighting and aircraft refueling, riot control, tankers, and trailers.
Jan 2013 - Apr 2018
Stress Engineer | Full-time
Progresstech is a big company in Russia and Ukraine providing engineering consulting services for the aerospace industry. I worked as a stress engineer in two Moscow offices specializing for different customers – Boeing Design Center and Airbus office.
Moscow Boeing is an engineering center with more than 1200 contract engineers working on diverse projects for Boeing. I've got a unique experience on 787 Dreamliner and 737 Support and Services projects, where I was making static and fatigue structural analysis and using MSC Patran / Nastran in my workflow.
I enhanced my experience working for one year in the Airbus office on A220 (former Bombardier CSeries) and A350 XWB projects. I've gained VBA programming skills there to create a macro in Excel spreadsheets and to perform efficient templates for stress analysis. In 2014 this office became a part of international company Tucana Engineering.
Bombardier CSeries Pylon Tubes project
Airbus A350-900 XWB Fuselage project

Aug 2011 - Dec 2012
Stress Engineer | Full-time
Right after I graduated, I started to work in NIK – this company provides engineering and consulting services for the aircraft industry. I've gained my first engineering skills in the Boeing Design Center as a contract engineer on the 787 Dreamliner project and definitely, it was a good start for yesterday's student.
Aug 2009 - Feb 2011
Design Engineer | Part-time
While I was a student I started to polish my skills, working in AviaOK as a design engineer in CATIA v5 and Unigraphics NX on various projects in the Russian aircraft industry (Tu-204,
Be-103 projects). AviaOK is based in Taganrog and provides a full range of engineering services.
Education
Southern Federal University
2010 - 2011
Master of Engineering | Aircraft Design
I graduated summa cum laude. My project for the thesis was developing of the new carrier-based anti-submarine warfare aircraft. It included such disciplines as aircraft design, static and fatigue structural analysis, aerodynamics, airframe dynamics, mass balance, and assembly technology. The project was performed using CATIA v5 and AutoCAD.
Southern Federal University
2006 - 2010
Bachelor of Engineering | Aircraft Design
I graduated summa cum laude. The main disciplines were aircraft design, structural analysis, strength of materials, composite structures, engineering mechanics.
